Friends of Willard Bay Open House 5 Mar
#19
Two projects that I have heard thrown around were and archery range and frisbee golf. I don't think those are official by any means. We have been working with a couple of State and Federal organizations attempting to get a safe boating water level at the Bay.

The Bureau is working on some thoughts. It's been more than a half century since the Bay was debated in the Congress. Times change, conditons change, demands change.

According the Park folks, since 1990 more than 9 millions of public dollars have been spent upgrading the State Park. In the last 6 to 9 years Park income has suffered significantly because the Public was denied the opportunity for public recreation on the water.

Many think of the oil spill as the cause ... not so, low water is the culprit, no fault of anyone, simply have to find a way to accommodate the public needs

Below is a chart that based off of a study done by the state. It shows how much water is in the Aquafier and how much it would take to keep Willard Bay at appropriate levels.
