Huntington North-nothing to write home about
#1
I fished Huntington North today along with a friend in our kick boats. We fished from 9:00 until about 2:30 and only managed to fool five rainbows from 14" to 16" long. We used fast sinking lines (#7) and size 6-8 olive leeches, size 6 bead head tan/green/pearl crystal buggers, and a size 8 bead head tan/green/pearl soft hackle. The water temperature was 42-46 degrees and the visibility in the water was about 10'. The reservoir is almost full. We had a few other fish on but not for long. Nice day for March but the fish still seem to be hibernating.[Wink]
