As far as corn goes it's illegal even for trash fish so don't use it until they change the laws... The other baits mentioned will do the trick or you can take a spear, pitch fork or bow and arrow into the shallows and just stick one, it will be prime time spawn as soon as the sun comes out so they shouldn't be too hard to find... Any shallow grassy area will be crawling with carp... good luck... J
