It is so localized with these storms. I really need to get a rain gauge for my yard as the closest weather station in Newton doesn't really show what happens here. Last night's storm dumped sheets of rain and hail here, and Newton got 0.05". On Memorial Day we got nailed by a pretty crazy storm that dumped enough water that we had about a 25 foot pond in my yard that was a foot deep or more in spots.
