Hi, new officially registered member here. I took a fly tying class from Dave Scadden (yes, THE Dave Scadden) about 20-some years ago, when they tied rocks to hooksWink

Anyways, I was at Sportsman's last Saturday (shopping for my birthday present). They had some sort of fly tying demonstration going on, which is cool, except that it was right in front of the pontoons! The nerve. Anyways, I don't know if they have formal classes, or just a seat of your pants sort of demonstration from time to time, but it'd probably be worth a looksee. The clandestine basement meeting sounds fun too.
