There will be plenty of people around from BFT that would be glad to let you drill a hole or two. Just don't pound the auger tips into the ice! It will ruin the blades. You do not NEED an ice pole to fish, just a couple of regular poles will do. Just go spend 10 bucks on some ice flys, small jigs, and a few mealies, and you are set. Dress warm, and prepare to have fun. Wish I could be there to meet you. Good luck, I hope the fishing is good, so your son can be "hooked"
