I usually night fish for crappie this time of year.But after yesterday, at the chattanooga crappie club instructional gathering, catching crappie at noon in this heat. I figured that I would put what I learned to use and see how I do on my own. Started out at chester frost around 7:00. Didn't keep count or take pics. But I did catch several, shooting deep docks. Went about halfway to chickamauga dam and decided to turn back and check out some docks north of CFP. Almost to the nuke plant and the motor shut off. Had to troll back to CFP. Glad I turned back. Didn't even look at water temp. Used Bobby Garland Outlaw Special. 1/16 and 1/32.
