We fished the AuSable at Footsite Dam last weekend , DNR fishing reports had steelhead in the river. It was a bust as far as steelhead go .
Did catch a few rockbass and this qualifier for a Master Anglers Award , third one in the same area that qualifies . That's Billy with my old Jim Grandt steelhead rod , his boy Nate is holding up my fish , Brett is Nate's grandpa , always a good time when we go fishing together .
I'm really liking the new fishing access they rebuilt , makes it a lot safer for everyone fishing
