If access to good wading zones is what you want, a one-man inflatable is a good solo option. If you are just using it to move from wade to wade, there's a lot of options from cheapo to cadillac. If, however, you want to actively drift fish while moving with the current, you need an inflatable specifically designed to be controlled with fins as well as the oars and with oars that fold down out of the way while casting. Big Sky Inflatables makes the Watermaster series for active drift fishing. I have two and think they are great. I don't recommend them for whitewater over class II but they are awesome stealth bombers for mellower water. They aren't cheap.
