My daughters have been nagging me to take them over to the park to ice fish for the first time this winter. Last year sucked there (too much moss and the water was off colored), but year before last was fast and easy on the ice.
I fished it the last day that it had open water enough to cast from shore and just pounded them.
How close to the big, open water hole were you able to get?
