I wanted to test the full moon theory that fish feed all night during a full moon so pulled a 24 hour fishathon once on Rockport. Started at noon and fishing was slow. Fishing picked up around dusk for a few hours, slowed during the night and picked up at dawn. Slowed again during the day. Barometric pressure was steady at about 31, no clouds, or wind. Low was -16 and high was 0. About 6 inches of ice with 1-3 inches of snow. Moved around a lot (when things slow to help stay awake). It was in no way a scientific absolute.
