Got to the lake about 15 to 8, out on the ice and fishing by 8:30.. Fish on within 5 minutes.. We were deep, about 95 ft. of water. We each had one pole down deep and one up high about 20 ft.. Rainbows on within 5 minutes of dropping the rigs down to 20 ft. We both filled up on limits of rainbows within an hour.. They stayed steady and consistent until about 1-2 o'clock.. Moved our deeper rigs back and fourth from the bottom to 50-60 feet looking for the macs.. Had some fish come in at 60 and some come off the bottom at 95, but no takers.. I used a pink cutter bug with an orange head tipped with a meal wormand a gizzy tipped with the same for the rainbows.. All fished released back to the lake.. If ur going to fish lake, be sure to take some spikes for ur boots.. Where there isn't snow, it is extremely slick.. I luckily walked away from what should've been cracked ribs or worse..
