It was deep enough that I could not see the bottom but at that clear water place that is only about 2ft. However, the weed tops were covered with water. Not a lot of help. I have a direct drive boat so I will not be attempting it until I can confirm the depth. If I had a boat that I could pull the motor up, I would go. I think it is deep enough for that type of boat.
