Why only DC, not Utah Lake?
#2
although Ut. Lake is down stream from DC, there has been no positive tests of it or the Provo River to my knowledge, hence no restrictions or regulations.

As for DC, there were only DNA indicators found, no mussels or veligers. The testing continues and I do not believe that there have been any more positive tests. I believe that it takes 3 years of negative testing to declare a water clean. So we have one more year at DC.

Red Fleet had the same problem 5 or 6 yrs ago and it tested negative and has been removed from the list. Not sure about the other water's. Going to DWR's website, there is a page that lists all tested waters in the state and current status. DC is the only water besides Lake Powell which has tested positive. It tested Positive in 2014, they were not detected in 2015, so the classification is Suspected !!
