Chesterfield Res. open?
#5
[quote Idaho]What is weird. Why Franklin County? The Bear runs into a pretty much dead sea....

Start checking boats that go to Bear Lake.

I would imagine most, not all the water at Chesterfield Res. Goes to The Snake....

The mussel issue has nothing to do with the end waters down there. Has everything to do with the Canal Companies flexing their ownership for 2 reasons. 1st and foremost they are doing it because they keep proposing a dam up the Oneida Narrows which gets shot down so like a kid on the play ground that gets mad they say well fine we aren't going to let you play in our game (canal company lakes). The avenue that they are going to use is the possibility that mussels might get into the lakes which would then cause problems with their gates and valves. Is it a real possibility....sure it could happen but from the thousand foot view it appears to be more the situation above than real concern that they might get mussels there.
