Up the Canyon passed the power plant in the river bottom, the river does a big horseshoe bend and the river goes on the North side of the road and then back on the south side of the road. The rest stop is coming up quickly on you right side, you can drive down the river quite a ways and park at the end of the road and easily walk back to the horseshoe bends you passed on the highway.

( Horseshoe bend is up the canyon at the first place the Highway Patrol can turn around between the two Highway lanes )
