South Marina Swim 8-4-16

I was up at mirror and heard a large splash. An elderly gentleman fell out of his canoe and couldn't get back in. I was in my toon with motor so I hurried over to assist. I was able to drag him and his canoe to shallower water where he could stand and get out. That is some cold water up there. I picked up an inflatable vest last year. Best investment I made. I wear it more now than I did when I had a standard PFD. Much more comfortable. Especially in the heat.
