Utah Lake Fish Edibility
You won't eat fish from U.L. ???? I'll bet you go the the grocery store, buy & eat beef, pork and poultry you buy there. Have you ever been to a feedlot and seen cattle wading in their own excrement just before being slaughtered? Maybe watch pigs root through cow manure searching for undigested corn kernels. I could go on with this rant but why. Your mind is apparently locked. Myself, I think you oughta get real.
Not sure to whom your remarks were intended, but we haven't bought meat from a store in ages because of some of the practices you mentioned. In addition to about 20 pounds of fillets in the freezer from the gorge we have about 150 pounds of elk, pheasant, and a bit of grass fed beef left from a cow we slaughtered last year. All of our pork, chicken, and eggs come from a friend who implements humane and organic practices. So yes, I am "real", and we spend more on good food than most people do on their mortgage.
