I agree. Ice season is looking like it might be pretty good. If I come this year, I think I'm going to push to come earlier than what we've done the last few years. Not sure Thanks weekend makes sense, so maybe the week before? But then ice will be questionable........ Just not sure.
I only hope I can make it happen this year. The cabin we've been renting is now about 4-6x what we were paying ($125 per night the first year, $225 per night the 2nd year, then it changed hands and was around $400 per night last year, now I guess it's like $650 per night), so that is not really an option anymore. JWR has increased their prices also. Not sure I can justify that either. I'm not opposed to staying in West and the prices are good there, but I won't want to do that with our normal BIG group of family and kids and stuff. I have a line on a few other places, but I'm not sure how it will come together........
