Rght on! Been fishing Mids for years. Was one of the first to come up with the slip indicator.
You can also fish mids with a fast sinking line. Sometimes much more effective.
I have a Type 7 line that I marked with a dab of Knot Sense every 20'. Many times they will hit on the retrieve, plus easier to cast in the wind and you don't have to know the depth.
Love the mid reports.
I will be doing a class this Spring for the Expo on stillwater fishing.
