It's not a smitty, it's a ice tent platform. I saw the new BayRunner ice sled and liked the idea of setting up and being able to move around the ice quickly from place to place without tearing down and setting up. I find myself sitting to long at a hole because I don't want to tear down and set up. This was especially true on stormy days. The problem with the BayRunner is it's too small. Your sitting right on top of your holes, you can't stand up and if the slush monster is out it fills with water. I would love to have an ice shack like they do in Minnesota, but we don't get that kind of ice.
Behold the Redneck platform 1.0. Its the best of both worlds. It's two 4x8 pieces of plywood mounted on a 2x4 frame and hinged together. Each piece of plywood has its own set of skis. 5 gallon buckets with screw on lids for hatches. Folds in half for transport and once unfolded and set up it can be pulled around lake with a 4 wheeler
