Who needs a pole? I fished this morning with my line tied to my scooper. Of course this is pretty easy when the water is only 4 feet deep. Plus, if I was you I wouldn't take advice from a fisherman who catches as few fish as I. A nice short pole should be pretty cheap. Good luck!
