Its only a 1 minute drive off the main road. You have to enter it from the city of Woodruff as they close the highway coming from Ogden in the winter time. Quickest way fom Salt Lake is through Evanston then go past the wyoming downs and stay on that road to Woodruff. From Woodruff its only a few minutes away. You can usually take a car but if not the walk wont be bad to the dam. Going up the dam can be pretty fun/challenging at some times. Its steap and slippery in the snow, so bring some cleats. I'm not sure why everyone is so hush hush on the reservoir. There used to be big Tiger Trout in there but in recent years the fishery sucks. Also its probably the coldest place in Utah.
