My friend and I were just talking about that while fishing yesterday and thats the same conclusion we came up with, kokes that were hatched the year before. We will have to give that a try, dropping to the bottom of the group, to catch the larger ones. I know when you do get into a group of bigger ones, that you can limit out in a matter of minutes, if you can keep them around. I haven't tried this before but I have noticed that when there is a larger group of people fishing in the same area the kokes stay around longer. I always figured it was because of all the jigs or attractors keeping their attention, so I wondered if you had one or two of those Mr Jiggers set up, with just a dodger on them, if that would keep their attention. You won't even need to have a hook on the dodger, just the flash should do the trick. For those that don't know, Mr Jigger, and there could be another name for them, is a battery powered jigger that jigs on its own, if I remember correctly they can lift a jig or dodger, in this case a foot or more before dropping it again. Has anyone ever tried this before?
