Start being very very careful, I walked across my pond last night and it started to collapse in areas where there were weeds underneath that floated up near the ice... Those areas were shot and the ice crumbled underneath my foot step... I was being careful and stepped around those areas, but the rest of the ice was cracking and shifting under foot... Don't think that pond will hold tonight... Looked like about 4.5" of total ice last night and only about an inch of good ice left... Dang hate to see it go...By the way, my pond is only waist deep at best so if I fell though i'd only gotten wet not drowned.. Otherwise I wouldn't have even gotten on it last night... Later J
