Utah Carp Flats
#2
Probably not telling you anything you didn’t already know, but UL and Jordan River are my go-to’s for carp. Within a week or two (depending on weather, I suppose) they’ll get real frisky at UL and you can sight fish them with dry flies. A big caddis is my usual. Just find the pods of surface feeders and plop it down gently. If subsurface is your thing, Olive, Brown, and black wooly buggers are great, with a big yellow or orange trailer glo bug or San Juan worm. You’ll catch channel cats on that rig as well, so heads up on that.
