Fishing Buddy did have a bad reputation when Bottom Line owned them, and unfortunately, that bad reputation is still sticking with them.
Hummingbird now makes Fishing Buddy's and has for a few years. They are AWESOME and have advanced features for a decent price. Or so I hear, I am still using my old 300.[
