I am a new member to the forum. Tried to create an account a few months ago but it would always link to an ad.
Since that time I have been soaking in the knowledge on many on the forum, thank you to TubeDude, Rabb and others. Up until this soring I ate nothing but skunk at Willard and techniques that worked elsewhere were coming up empty.
This season I have bank tangled and rock hopped just about every piece of the reservoir and found fish each trip. The cats have come very easy, even when fishing crappie jigs with Gulp. I have been amazed to see that the majority of the cats are healthy and big. I think the smallest I have caught there was 16". TubeDudes bead trick has been deadly on kitties.
I landed, Sunday, what has been my largest Wiper at 22". I dont know what it weighed but it was an awesome fight. Also fell victim to a crappie jig.
The walleye have so far eluded me at Willard, lost on at the net Sunday. I have not fished there at night though.
