My experiences have been the opposite of yours, Cabela's worst quality and customer service I have ever experienced. (dry-plus breathable waders, lucky to get one duck season out of them, no warranty on waders. I have got three seasons of use out of Rogers Sporting goods breathable waders for $180 a pair)
I have been into the Bass Pro in Vegas a couple of times. Customer service was non existent, couldn't find anyone to answer any questions for me.
Cabela's high prices will be raised to match Bass Pro prices.
Just my experiences and opinions, won't shop either one and haven't for several years.
