Seaguar knot is super fast very smooth and very strong , braid to mono or Fluoro
Or even mono to Fluoro heavy or light lines. With just a little practice you can tie it quickly and consistently .

I tried the Seaguar knot and find it a pain to tie since you have to run the entire leader through the loop. With a 2' leader that might not be too bad, but on my trolling rods, I have at least a 6' leader. With the Alberto knot (or improved Allbright, you choose the name), you don't worry about leader length. Additionally, I top-shot my reels with superline, so there is no practical way to tie the Seaguar knot since my top-shot is 75 yards long. I've tried the uni-to-uni and that sucker slips with Nanofil, so that one is out for sure. I do agree to tighten VERY slowly WITH saliva or you will break your mono/flouro pretty easily! One more tip on the Alberto, don't be stingy with the tag ends of mono or the superline. It is SO much more easy to tighten these knot with a 6" or longer tag end.

With the Alberto, try the Improved version, where instead of simply running the tag end back through the loop, you run it through twice. That really locks the tag in. Also, look at the Yucatan knot on Youtube.

I use a 10 foot leader all the time at Powell, I cut off a bit every time I feel a nick or rough spot from
Mussels or rocks, that way the leader last longer and the know is smooth so problems when casting. Never had any issue tying it with ten foot or longer leaders, just takes maybe a second longer to pull it through. Great knot easy very strong and small.

I tried the Yucatan knot and for me, it does not work well with light leader and braid. This post is a perfect example of why Knot (pun intended) to ask about knots. Everyone has their own reasons why they like a particular knot or knots and no one will agree. It is another fine example of the Ford, Chevy, Dodge truck discussion and which one is better, or knot! I agree with Scott this thread sent me down the rabbit hole!
The most important thing you can do is learn to tie what works for you and do it well!!
Always use correct number of turns , Lubricate the knot and pull it tight slowly and completely!! Then go with it.
I was bored today and revisited knot comparisons tying videos online. Bit of a knot nerd over the years of working at the fishing shop, got pretty good at many knots. Actually learned and remembered lot today. To sum it up, #1 knot performance varied greatly over testing, some knots varied from 40% to 85% strength when tied and tested by even the (IGFA ) International game fish association no less!! #2 The most popular knots where not the best in strength, clearly good enough because lots use them. #3 for Braid to leader FG knot tested by multiple sources often had better than 100% strength (did not break in the knot but in the leader itself and higher than test rating) most don’t realize most lines break heavier than “rated” unless a “certified” line class which must not break at greater strength than stated. RATED TOP KNOT FOR STRENTGH SMOOTHNESS # 4 FG knot is a MAJOR PAIN to tie #5 there are many ways to skin a cat or tie a knot! I found a way to tie FG KNOT in under a minute!! I had never seen it before and takes a complex knot to tie and simplifies it a bunch. With a bit of practice pretty easy!! Australian guy demos it online. #6 I rediscovered the GT knot ( I had forgotten about it) very easy highly rated and great strength. Lots of great resources online fun to check into and grab some line and practice as it makes perfect as they say!!?
So learn to tie what works for you and tie it right and go fishing!!’
Knots are not to be overlooked if you not pay attn. to your knot your fishing could be all for naught!!
Pun intended!! Good luck tight lines! Have fun!!

Where is the ‘super easy to tie’ braid to flouro for a one handed guy?

Where is the ‘super easy to tie’ braid to flouro for a one handed guy? Sorry. I only know how to tie knots for guys with only one eye. You may have to renew your Force membership and check in with Yoda for that one. Otherwise, use your good hand to hold a gun on someone who you can "force" to tie the knots for you. Crossbow might work too. I hear tell you have some skills with that weapon.

I use 4 lb braid for trout with six lb flouro leader. With lines this fine I get way too many break offs and frayed leaders to keep tying new knots. Small swivels are all I use with about three feet of leader. Works but when someone borrows a pole and tries to cast the swivel through the eyelet they get mad. I tell them to tie a working knot with 4 lb braid and that ends the discussion. I sometimes switch to 6 lb braid if I’m chasing known big fish but after you’ve casted 4 lb for awhile 6lb seems pretty thick. I’ve caught up to ten lb fish with 4 lb braid but also had some heartbreakers when I couldn’t keep them out of the weeds.
