hey
Ok so my previous post has the pics from my I phone but typing on a flat top is easier. My first transducer got torn off the hull. Rough water and it sticks back there on a flimsy mount. I got the through hull and as you can see it is way sturdy. The kicker does interfere a little but I get good full view out the starboard and about 70% Port. If your not afraid to make the hole you could put the through hull just forward of your engine on the center line. The twin transducers I don't know about. I felt like I needed depth readings on plane so the transducer has to catch a pretty good clean chunk of water to do that. If you don't need depth on plane then a skimmer set up as was previously posted should work. You will most likely loose some coverage on the port but have full view out the starboard. At Willard bay side imaging will show the track-ruts in the access roads that they used to get the scraper up on the dam. Thats right they are not humps they are roads. Good luck with the set up there. [signature]

k so now here is the new problem, the brand new fish finder only lasted 1-2 hours on its first trip before the screen went black, now i finally got it back and went out last weekend and seen for sure that i need the second transducer, (i already had one ordered anyways)
got a hold of the guy at sportsmans to ask why weeks later it still wasnt in, turns out that his "buyer" told him they cant get what i need and he forgot to call and tell me anyways, now my question is, does anyone know what i need to do to get the transducer and merge cable? [signature] |
