Ended up at starvation today to try our luck, could not access rabbit gulch because of snow, ended up at Indian bay. Caught 6 rainbows between the two of us all fish were about 15 feet down and all were caught on the same thing, gazilla cutter bug white with pink flecks
Could not find perch anywhere probably drilled 50 holes in a ton of different depths.
Saw a bunch of bull elk too

Thanks for the report and pics. Was the snow so deep at Rabbit Gulch that you couldn't get down the road?
Those elk look awesome!

Are they really called Gazilla Cutter Bugs? When I do a Google search, nothing shows up under that name. Is there a different spelling? I've seen a few posts mentioning similar jigs, all with different variations and spellings and I can't ever get the right search to pull up since I don't know the correct spelling. Any help here?

Their made by Maniac lures, very popular around here and available at most sporting goods stores. The gazilla and the cutter are very good plastics for most species and they are two different items. Hope this helps you out.

Perfect, thanks. I've used white tube jigs for the past 10 years and I've been anxious to try something else out. I was planning on picking some of those up since i've read about them in other reports, but I didn't quite know what they were called.
Since the Berry has crawdads all over I assume these would be fine to use at the Berry through the ice?

Those do better for me at the berry than even paddle bugs do which is pretty hard because paddle bugs are awesome. I would say that white tube jigs paddle bugs and maniac Gizilla's are the top three for me for sure at the berry and at most other trout lakes.
