Fish lake snow??

Just curious if anyone has been to fish lake recently? Is there to much snow to get a side by side around on the ice??? Thank you!!

I was there on Saturday and the depth of snow varied. Some spots we saw were just ice and others had some drifts that were just below your knee. There were snowmobiles on the lake. I did see 1 side by side on the lake a ways off but it had tracks on it. I would say you would probably be ok if you watch where you are going.

My brother had his four wheeler on it Saturday and didn't have any problems. Like the previous poster said. There are pockets of snow and slush, but as long as you watch where you are going there is a lot of area that would be fine for a side by side. Fishing was good for perch and splake. Nothing huge but it was a good time.

How thick was the ice?

Ice was a good 12-14 inches I would say

Ice is good and solid there- yesterday. No soft spots on edges. Probably ~12" thick in the middle of the lake.
