Strawberry Ice Off? Anybody have update?

I am hearing that the ice is coming off SB, dose anybody have news if has started and how far it is move off? I have never done the ice off, but going to try this year!

Yes, thank you as I saw that report and was wondering once it gets like that, when dose it start to melt off and have clear water. I hear you want to get there when it is about 10 to 20 yrs of clear water to the edge of the ice.

Please keep any updates coming from the Berry!

I stopped by the Berry yesterday and there was about 300 yards of open shore at the Ladders but that was the only open water. I threw some streamers for about an hour with no luck. There were a few other anglers that had been there soaking bait all day and they hadn't caught anything either.

We drove by there today and the conditions are the same as reported on the 30th. With the warm weather, it shouldn't be much longer.
