Cascade report.
#1
Went to Cascade on Friday with a friend. Was a pretty cool all morning, but then warmed up to just chilly around mid day. We fished out of the Boulder creek ramp. Parking area was clear. There was a bit of snow in the road right at the entrance, but that will be gone in a couple days. Ramp was barely accessible for a small boat (water level has dropped since), not sure if you could still launch there now. No docks in the water yet. Fishing was spotty. We'd catch several over a short time, and then go for fairly long periods with very little action. We managed to bring home between 50 and 60 eaters by fishing from shortly after daybreak until around 2:30 or so. Crappie jigs tipped with eyeball was working for us as good as anything was.

Nice report, did you take any pics of the fish you caught and if you did, would you mind posting them? Thats got to be at least a few meals[Wink].

Sorry Wiper. No pictures. Caught some decent fish, but it was such a so so day for Cascade that it didn't qualify for pictures. Maybe Bill has some.

Bill?

I'll add to this post. I fished Sunday morning for a few hours. Put in at Sugarloaf and the dock and ramp are both in really good shape. Water temp was 47-48. Caught 3 nice smallmouth, a few nice perch and a couple trout.
