Easy small fish for kid

My son wants to earn his fishing belt loop for Cub scouts. Do any of you know if we can catch some small perch on Roberts pond?

If you can't, then there is something serious not right. I'm not an expert on Roberts and I don't live in the area, but last I knew Roberts was so full of perch it would be hard not to catch something as long as you have appropriate sized hooks. Very small being the appropriate size..... []

A guy could take his kid out to Blacktail and get perch off the docks easy too.

I know the usually stock Birch Creek heavy for opening weekend with small trout. That is also an option.
