Okay I finally got a clue and got the rules updated for the new year... Biggest changes only one youth prize this year, only had a couple enter last year.... Contest begins 3-1-18 so next week.... Right like I can get any cats to bite up north for a couple months, but for you diehards down south we'll give you this bone to make up for the algae blooms in the summer... Make sure you reply to this post to let us know to add you to the scoring sheet.... Print your placard and get your screen name on it so you're ready to take photo's of your monsters... Remember to state north or south... One thing I didn't clarify very well in the rules that we tried to update last year, is you can choose which team you want to be part of by where you fish the most... Meaning if you live in Bountiful which is north of Salt Lake, (old rules you would be team north) but you fish Utah lake most of the time, then you can choose team south.. (if you want to be a looser) Anyway the teams depend on where your fish come from more than where you live.... if that makes sense? Okay don't know what I've forgot so please correct me on anything we have left out... Rules are nearly the same this year... We will only provide 4 set prizes per the rules, but note we still have the little cat traveling trophy and we will allow participants to offer prizes as they desire for first cat on the board or first 30 incher or whatever you want to do, it's up to you, but I will leave it up to you to provide the prize and present it either by mail or at the banquet whichever you prefer... Kind of a fun way you can add spice to the contest if you'd like to help out and keep things more fun... Again let's restate, this is all about fun and good natured ribbing, but lets keep it kind and not get too serious about this, it's for fun... Prizes will be smallish so don't count on making a career from this your winnings here... We hope you'll support the sponsors that provide some of our prizes and if you know of anyone that might be willing to provide prizes, it's always fun to have random prize drawings along the way that we can pass out to contest participants..
