Bass fishing experience
#1
Hello,

Wanted to share with you all my latest fishing experience and say that bass fishing is heating up here in South Western Idaho on the snake river.

Used a lure that looks like a large tube jig. I think it is called a Gitzit tube. 1/4 ounce of weight, with 12 pound test. Slowly brought the rod up, and lowered it while reeling it in the make sure there was no slack. When I say slow, I mean slow.

I broke my personal record for the largest smallmouth I ever caught.

Attached is a picture of it.

Good catch. A Gitzit works good in South Eastern Idaho to. Keep up the good work.

Wow! Good job. That fish is a monster. Gitzits work for everything.

Yep that is a whopper of a smallie bro!

Those 2.5-3 inch tube jigs (even 4, but that's pushing it) work fantastic for smallies. Especially in places where there are lots of crawdads.

Awesome fish. It’s a blast catching Smallies on the rivers. If you are looking for another great Bass tube, try Dry Creek Custom Baits. They are an Idaho company that make killer bass plastics.
Good down to earth guys and the prices are comparable to anything you find out there.
