Bountiful lake has just shy of 4 inches of ice near the docks. I would assume the inlet channel is thinner. The top inch is garbage ice that deteriorated from the warmer day time temps. With some colder night temperatures coming soon the pond should be considered safe in a week or so.
I tried fishing from the docks at dusk for a couple hours into the night and only marked 3 small fish on the vexilar. No takers.
