In case you wanted to know the ice has now cleared off of Hyrum dam, so if you've been waiting for open water it is good to go now... Time to put up my ice gear... Later J

I seen that on the damcam site today... Pretty cool how fast it went... once it started to go... First of the week I was surprised it still had ice covering it, but I didn't look yesterday and this morning it was gone... That's good, now I don't have to keep my ice gear out anymore, I doubt I'll go try Strawberry again, so I just as well get ready for soft water now... End of a fun season... Always like Hyrum as old reliable, seems like I can always catch fish through the ice there, even if they aren't very big... But this year it surprised me with several really nice trout through the ice... (for Hyrum nice sized 18")... Anyway hope it will be good to the softwater anglers as well... Later J
