Henry's opening, how was it?

Curious to know how the opening weekend was at Henry's.

Anyone hit up Island park?

A lot of big fish were caught this weekend . The normal hatch did not happen this year . So the fish are aggressive. The weather kept me away . I should have went .The Brookies are twins 6 1/2 and 6 pounds 23" long . The biggest fish I heard about was 13.89 pound Hybrid . A lot of 9 and 10 pounders .

Probably the best opener for large fish I've ever seen!

Me too , they did real well opening weekend . The biggest I heard of was almost 14 pounds .

The hatch has started . Seen a post today . Said they were so bad it was a nightmare . In your eyes , nose , ears , and mouth . If you opened it to complane about the flys . The fish will be full of them soon . And the fish won't bite for awhile .

Our group caught 1-10 lbs . 2-8lbs and several 6lbs and a lot of 14" .
My 9year old caught 40 on Saturday. We fished around the rain showers.
Only had a few bugs Sunday afternoon in sure they are very bad now.
One had been in a gillnet
