Rockport still producing

Fished Rockport on Saturday 6/15 started at the dam trying for some bass there seems to be a good perch collection over there cause they always produce some tiny little nibbles. Caught one perch there and we caught a monster 3 inch bass!! Spent the rest of the day trolling and pulled in about 10 good sized rainbows and one brown. Ended the day with 2 8-9” small mouth bass on some rapalas it was my first bass in over 5 years!! All the trout went back in the drink and the bass and perch went home for tacos!

Too bad the bass were not as aggressive as the trout but at least you caught a couple. Thanks for the report.

Yeah I need to get into some bass they are a riot and absolutely delicious on a corn tortilla! Hopefully I can get into them next month at the gorge!
