Mirror Lake conditions?
#1
Does anyone know the conditions of the access road from the highway down to Mirror Lake please?
I want to take a snowmachine down saturday to fish and have a look around.
Mill Hollow or Trial Lake would be a backup plan.
Any pictures would be fantastic and very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Yeah, I'd like to hear a report on Mill Hollow, or anywhere I could catch some brookies, too.

On June 25th the road to Mirror Lake was snowed in. You won't need anything special to access Trial Lake.

The Feds finally got back to me and let me know Sadly there will be no snowmachining for me today.
The road to ML is open to regular traffic.

Do you know how to target the brookies at Mill Hollow? I can catch the other species almost anywhere.

I catch about 20% brookies,20% tigers, with remainder bows and an occasional albino.
The albinos are biggest, the brookies the smallest.
I dont do anything special for the brookies.
It is fun to see an albino come through thd ice as all the gold reflects off of the hard deck.

Go where there are only brook trout instead of other sub- species by catch. PM me.

All the roadside lakes have been stocked for the past two weeks with both rainbow trout and tiger trout except Moosehorn and it was stocked with rainbow this week. The snow is going fast and you can access Mirror Lake. Most of the lakes that you hike into are also open but there is some snow in the trees to access them but almost all are open. We've been aerial stocking them the last two days and many have a lot of fish jumping and I need to get into them. Might have to climb over a few drifts but they look fun.
