So we got on the water at 8am. The water was rolling pretty good but not quite white cap. We set up on the south side of the island where we had fast action the other day. We fished under bobbers for about 1 hour 30 minutes and managed about 7 cats. It wasn’t real fast but with the waves we figured it was decent amount. We moved to the north side and fished on the bottom to try things a little different. We caught 9 more cats, 1 carp, 1 white bass, and lost about 7 rigs to the rock monsters. But for 3 hours my kids hardly fought and my handicapped son reeled in 8 cats and the carp so he was the winner today and was smiling from ear to ear so it made for a great day. We left at 1145.
