Is there anyone who is dedicated to chasing panfish down in the St. George area? Don't get me wrong - bass are fun, but there's something to be said about scaling down and searching out the "big" bluegills or crappie. Just seeing who's out there.

You have crappie in Gunlock, Bluegill in Quail Creek and Sand Hollow, and I am sure that the SMB can use some thinning of the smaller fish in both Quail and SandHollow. If you drive, Enterprise has Wipers, Minersville SMB.

Utahduckhunter seems to have the crappie dailed in or at least catches them frequently. I dont usually fish local for them here in St. George but I do like chasing them at Powell when I can get over. The panfish have been doing well there.

Can I target crappie from shore at Gunlock or do I need a boat?
