Jmax, Lake Balboa, Bass, 9/12/19, Alone

Still kicking, thought I would post one. In between going to the woods, working on stands, putting out feeders and cameras I have not done much fishing. Got out yesterday between 9 to 1. It was a little hot and the water is still in the upper 80s here. Could not find hardly anything shallow but a couple little ones. Headed for deeper water on the ledge, edge, drop program. Found and marked bass in several areas on ledge drops mostly around the 20 foot range. Tried a little of everything trying to get a school to become active but that never happened. Instead I had to resort to my ol'standby shakey head with a finesse worm on it and pick them off one at a time. Boated 16 bass and lost three others reeling them in. Nothing all that big, best were in the 3 lb range, don't think any hit the four lb mark. My scale's battery is dead and I could not weigh any. Only could give them a "swag". Here are a couple of the better ones. (pictures) As usual taking them yourself never does them justice. Hope you all are well and keeping those Chick bass busy. emoBigSmile Jmax
