That is an interesting and worthwhile project. As has already been pointed out, using a fishfinder has the potential of showing areas much shallower than they actually are.

MOby Dick get the credit for his enthusiam in maping out the lake. Could you imagine using a hand auger to to this?

Would this be it ? It does show 2 islands in it . Top of page is north . Oh by the way nice work on your map . Good thing you had a power auger .

I was bored today and decide to draw a map of Bountiful to share with everyone . It not perfect but I use the areial photo to outline it . I wish I would of put the road and the streams in it but maybe next time . I do plan to hit this water hole this year , so I will mark notes on it from my trips .

Reports are not safe ice any longer. Its just west of the freeway in bountiful. I think the directions are on the fishing holes section.
