Rockport? Ice conditions?

Was going to make the drive up to Rockport tomorrow (Tuesday) but with it being over 40 degrees out right now I didnt know what the ice conditions were or if the drive would be worth it.
Any current info?

6 to 7” this morning w/ a little new snow. That was out from the ramp.

Sunday south of the ramp had 3 1/2” clear with an inch of refrozen junk on top. I was glad I had a float suit, throw bag and spikes, luckily didn’t need them. Fishing was pretty good early- then died off around 9:00.

I fished the west side of Rockport on Saturday and it was around 3 inches. It was good quality solid clear ice but borderline for me. We caught about 15 perch and a bunch of super fat rainbows. Pretty fun day on the ice.
