I was there today could see lots of perch on the bottom ,but the all had lockjaw as they wouldn't bite anything I had to offer. I figured when I dropped the camera down and seen them sitting all around on the bottom it was on. But my thoughts soon only turned to frustration. Ha ha was still fun to get out into the outdoors and see all the elk and deer just making the best of winter.

Ice was 5 to 6 with a couple inches of slush on top rained/sleet most of the day while I was there until 1 pm. Fished northern over buy the campground, in 54 F.O.W.i went about a mile from the boat ramp some areas of heavy slush while riding out on my snowmobile.

For perch, I would look for 35-40 FOW. Trout seemed to come through at 15' while I was fishing deep for perch. Caught the perch on wax worms and a Hali or a gold tungsten jig. Catching was not fast for me last Sat. Good luck!
