If it is lake trout you are after i would look at the guide in manila i am not sure of his name or buisness but i have seen him on doug miller outdoors and have talked with a few people that have gone with him and they say his personality sucks but he does know how to catch large lake trout. You might even be able to check doug miller's web sight to find out.

Jim Williams is the guide who has been on Doug Miller a couple of times. Bruce Parker runs Conquest Expeditions. Check the net, I'm sure they both have websites. There are some others also, and some guiding out of Cedar Springs.

[]hey crossineye i'm not sure what the phone numbers are for these guides but there is one called creative fishing charters/guides and a guy has a sign on the side of the road going to manila and it says fishing guide and his name is larry gutz. hope this helps you out. trfishin
